Truckk approached us to design and develop a brand new logistical platform for Transport Providers to help customers move their stuff. Using the same concept as other competitors on the market, Truckk sets out to improve the carbon footprint of the man and van model, by working with the locations of the drivers to optimise their journeys.
The web app platform would work to improve the ecological impact on the amount of Vans in an area. If a driver was heading into a certain town or city, they could pick up a job based on their location. This would therefore prevent any empty trips, and improve their environmental output.
Customers looking to move house, cars, basic household items and even pianos can do so through Truckk. Through gathering detailed notes on the delivery, the driver can then access if this can be achieved through their services, and the size of fleet required for the type of job listed.
Viewing the details of each job will then determine if they were to Submit a Bid through a simple bidding system. The bid can then be reviewed by the customer, who can accept or decline the amount. Once a job has been completed, the Provider would mark it as ‘Completed’. A feedback system can also be added to increase the Transport Providers’ individual ratings and trust on the platform.
As a site with a public-facing landing page and search engine, it was important that once the customer had entered their move details that it would be a smooth and quick experience to submit their job. Once submitted, Providers could then easily find the job, place a bid for it and wait for a response from the customer. Our newly built payment system for Truckk allows customers to pay the service fee with ease, allowing the job to go ahead. A feedback feature upon completion allows for stronger Provider ratings.
Our Login screen for both Customers and Transport Providers provides a clean and simple approach, with easy toggle between user types.
When joining the platform this is also kept simple for customers, whilst Drivers have to be vetted by the client’s internal team before being approved to join the platform.
A complete responsive design for Truckk meant optimising existing elements from desktop, whilst keeping a focus on quick and easy navigation, customer learning (how it works) and conversion (sign-ups).\
